The Plymouth/Wayzata Home Schooling Co-op Group is hosting our next Common Core Presentation on November 7th, 7:00-9:00p.m. at Messiah Methodist Church.  Their address is: 17805 County Road 6, Plymouth  55447.  The general public is invited.

Linda Bell and Kerstin Schulz will discuss how Common Core is affecting the US student population through public schools and private schools, who use public school standards and curriculum and/or accept federal funding. They will address the standards, the curriculum, the aligned assessments and tests, nationally-shared data collection and data mining, data used to build our workforce, and teacher/principal evaluations tied to Common Core.  Also included will be Common Core information regarding birth – 5 years old, preschool and college.

Special attention will be given Common Core’s affect on Home Schooling.
