Glenn Beck’s, We Will Not Conform is playing in movie theaters on Tuesday, July 22nd at 7:00pm! Theaters are asking viewers to arrive 30 minutes early. Tickets may be purchased online (posted in the article below). Glenn Beck has designed this event to be interactive — bring your phones. Our understanding is that we will be discussing take action items and determining next step in taking our schools back.. Some of our theaters will offer an after-the-movie social to connect with others. MACC will have representatives of our Board at each of the locations handing out flyers, sharing our petition and sign ups to get involved at the local level..
Minnesotans Against Common Core’s mission is to inform the people of Minnesota about Common Core and related initiatives (College & Career Ready Standards and the Minnesota World’s Best Workforce). We oppose any and all governmental or corporate take-over of our schools, which includes Common Core Standards, No Child Left Behind Waiver, Race to the Top – Early Learning Challenge as well as the corporate privatization or “choice” movement. Choice and Charters remove duly elected school boards and always align with the Common Core reform.
