Minnesota Advocates and Champions for Children is a grassroots multi-partisan group of parents, teachers and citizens, knowledgeable and active in our local government processes.
MACC began as a group of concerned parents and teachers regarding the Common Core Standards reform. After further research, we came to realize that the standards and accompanying reforms were secretly founded, corruptly funded and stealthily implemented. The standards’ mandate and copyright are unconstitutional.
These reforms exploit youth through insurmountable and undisclosed data collection and discriminate against students through behavioral and psychological profiling. Information is disseminated to third parties that were once trusted, now graft public/private partnerships, creating a limited one-size-fits-all Human Capital.
MACC believes that true local control, not top-down federal or state mandates, lie best in the hands of parents and citizens. MACC’s mission is to inform Minnesota’s citizens about the continuation of corporate and federal reforms, as well as encouraging information for families and children. In the end, our goal is to work collaboratively by reclaiming our parental rights and positive local control.

Hi;
I am from Idaho and very much against CC. One of our group members found a letter written from John Kline to Arne Duncan in 2010 regarding the data collection on kids. Here is the link to the pdf file
Click to access Letter_from_House_Committee_on_Education_and_Labor.pdf
I am unable to contact Mr. Kline to find out if Duncan responded and provided the requested information because I live in Idaho but we are very interested in what happened with this. Would it be possible for someone in your state to find out and let us know? Our education superintendent continues to deny any data tracking will be done which know is not true. thx, karen
Thanks for letting us know Karen – we will definitely reach out and see what we can find out.
